Perfect resume is not everything!

There are two types of candidates based on resumes, one is the Silver Spoon with a wonderful resume- graduate in a top university, great recommendations, and experience who will have a higher chance in most interviews. The other one is the Scrapper with some not related job experience and graduates in the state school who must fight against other people who have a great resume to get to the same point. Most hiring managers will select the first type of candidates to go into the interview, however, those groups of people sometimes might think there were certain assignments that were beneath their own, like temporarily doing manual labour to better understand an operation. Then they might quit the job, at that stage people should give another chance the type II candidates. A series of different jobs may indicate inconsistency, lack of focus, and unpredictability. Or it may mean a committed struggle against obstacles. People in this group believe the only person you have full control over is yourself. And when there is a challenge comes, they will overcome it. There is a study that shows companies that are committed to diversity and inclusive practices tend to support Scrappers and outperform their peers. According to DiversityInc, a study of their top 50 companies for diversity outperformed 25%.
